Town Hall II: Sustaining Our Institutions Post-COVID

Special Two-Hour Edition

Please join the African American Arts Alliance for Town Hall 2 on December 1, 2021, 6:00 - 8:00 PM.  We have planned a dynamic discussion with some of Chicago’s leading grantmaking foundations and art funders on how to best access their resources and discuss funding across organizational and artistic sustainability. Since the pandemic shutdown, grantmaking foundations and art funders have navigated the crisis with new grants and funding opportunities helping to replace loss incomes suffered by many artists and organizations. 

TOWN HALL II will allow our funders to discuss last summer’s social justice movement, COVID-19 shutdown, and recovery, and what cultural institutions need to know about grant seeking in 2022 and the impact of investing specifically in leaders of colors (BIPOC) at cultural institutions across the city.

The African American Arts Alliance (AAAA) is a service organization that provides resources in the form of workshops, programs and special events in support of the vision and mission of African American arts organizations, artists and organizations serving African American cultural communities for nearly thirty years.
